For the project on Identity, me and Jada decided to take pieces of paper and pens down to second lunch and asked people if they could write down on that paper what society thinks of them. Some people were a little confused but once we explained that basically you write down what people say about you either to your face or behind your back. We were able to get about 20 people to participate. We came up with the idea by looking at past projects that other artists have done and made it our own. There was a lot of variety with the responses we got. Some were very saddening... while others were great!! Either way, this project really put life into perspective. What you say about people really sticks with them. Instead of reciting the negatives about people, why not say the positives? It'll make there day and hopefully stick with them the rest of there life. Kind of like how what Dalen Revis wrote in the image above. I think it'll stick with me forever.
